College Alpin Beau Soleil

Established in 1910, College Alpin Beau Soleil is one of Switzerland’s finest schools. The school provides boarding for students aged between 11-18 and is a truly international environment with 50 different nations represented within the student body. Beau Soleil deeply values a holistic education encompassing high academic standards and recreational challenges. Located in Villars-sur-Ollon, the campus is set in an extraordinary and unique environment with views across the beautiful Swiss Alps, just an hour and half from Geneva Airport. Campus facilities incorporate the latest technologies and dedicated spaces for theatre and music, a gymnasium with climbing walls, dance, yoga studio, and a science laboratory.

Academic Excellence

Beau Soleil aims to deliver outstanding educational results with a combination of high-quality personalised instruction, learning support and small class sizes; student to teacher ratio is 4:1. Students can opt to undergo the IB in English, French or a bilingual programme, or complete an American High School Diploma. Additionally, through its connections with the conglomerate Nord Anglia Education, students have access to Global Campus an online program. This enables them to participate in a variety of activities which enhance the school curriculum. There are 5 boarding houses which house boys and girls separately. 1-2 students share a room, and house parents reside within each house. They aim to provide every student with a warm and welcoming place to relax and enjoy leisure activities with their peers after fulfilling days at school.

With the school’s incredible alpine location, in the heart of the Swiss Alps, skiing is an integral part of life at Beau Soleil. During the winter term, all students spend more time out on the slopes. They also enjoy lunches at the school private ski chalet. The experienced skiers and snowboarders are encouraged to participate in competitions across Switzerland.
