Surval Montreux

Historically one of Switzerland’s only girls schools, Surval Montreux has been celebrating excellence in girls’ education since 1961. Today, the school welcomes girls aged 12 to 19 to study at their stunning campus in Glion, which offers inspirational views of the Geneva Lake and the Swiss Alps. An educational experience, you will not get anywhere else. Geneva Airport is approximately an hour's distance from the school.

Academic Excellence

The languages of the school are English and French and Surval has adopted an innovative and personalised learning approach whereby students are encouraged to research and prepare for topics and concepts prior to lessons. This deepens their understanding and gives them a sense of responsibility for their own learning, whilst keeping instructional time more exploratory and productive. Surval offers the iGCSE, A-Level, the American High School Program along with pre-university GAP programmes, preparing students for various university destinations both within Switzerland and across the world. Boarders reside in rooms of 2-3 and rooms have ensuite showers and balconies. Living together as an international family gives each girl the confidence to develop the initiative, imagination and independence she will need in the future.

Rich Campus Life

Surval Girls can participate in different types of sports, music, drama classes, fashion design on campus. The school also hosts Winter and Summer Camps held throughout the year which includes intensive languages courses and excursions in and around Europe.
