About the School
Established in 1898, the University of St. Gallen (HSG) is a research university located in St. Gallen, Switzerland. More than 9,000 students from 80 nations study at HSG year after year, drawn to their vision regarding internationalisation, integrative education and high academic standards. HSG is considered to be one of the leading business universities in the country and recognised across Europe. Other areas of specialism are Law, Economics, Social Science, Computer Science and International Affairs. HSG aims to admit students that possess an entrepreneurial spirit and take personal responsibility for their learning. This approach combines with their cleverly designed programs described as ‘holistic course architecture’ which sees students develop in a range of various subject areas outside of their selected program, adding to their intellectual curiosity and critical thinking skills.

Academics
Academic Excellence
HSG delivers more than 100 programs which include a variation of Bachelor’s, Masters and Executive Education options. Some of the programs are delivered in English whilst others are delivered in German. St.Gallen also includes an Assessment Year designed to prepare students for the demands and expectations required to complete the rest of their program successfully. Quantitative Economics and Finance, Banking and Finance, Law and Economics are just some of the programs available at HSG.
