Letovo School

Letovo School is a non-profit boarding school founded in 2018 in Moscow, Russia, established with the explicit mission of providing an exceptional education to gifted and highly motivated students from Russia and beyond. Despite its relatively recent founding, Letovo has rapidly earned a reputation as one of the most intellectually ambitious secondary schools in the Russian Federation, attracting students of outstanding academic ability from across the country and internationally. The school educates approximately 1,000 students in grades 7 through 11, all of whom board on the school’s purpose-built, state-of-the-art campus located approximately 20 minutes from Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport. Admission to Letovo is highly selective and academically competitive, with students chosen for their intellectual potential, curiosity, and motivation rather than solely on the basis of prior academic achievement. Letovo’s campus was designed and built to the highest contemporary standards, featuring specialist science laboratories, dedicated arts and music spaces, sports facilities, and modern boarding accommodation. Students can pursue competitive sport, theatre, music, fencing, chess, robotics, business and economics clubs, psychology, community service, and a wide range of creative pursuits. The school’s gifted student cohort means that many clubs operate at a genuinely high level of intellectual and competitive engagement, with students regularly participating in national and international olympiads and competitions across science, mathematics, and the arts.
