NIST

NIST International School is a not-for-profit IB World School located in the Watthana district of Bangkok, Thailand. Established on 13 August 1992, NIST was the first school in Asia to be authorised to offer all three International Baccalaureate programmes — the PYP, MYP, and Diploma — and has maintained that distinction for over three decades. The school community comprises more than 1,700 students drawn from over 65 nationalities, making it one of Bangkok's most genuinely international learning environments. The campus is modern and purpose-built, featuring specialist science laboratories, dedicated arts and music spaces, a 25-metre swimming pool, and extensive indoor and outdoor sports facilities. Academic Excellence

NIST offers all three IB programmes across the full age range from Early Childhood to Year 13. The Primary Years Programme (PYP) covers students aged 3 to 11 and is built around an inquiry-based, transdisciplinary approach that develops conceptual understanding alongside core literacy and numeracy skills. The Middle Years Programme (MYP) guides students aged 11 to 16 through an integrated curriculum that encourages critical thinking, research skills, and international-mindedness.
